【Taipei】The call for "Light, Slim, Aesthetic" laptops stirred up by MSI's X-Slim series laptops has swept across Japan. At a major press conference for the X Series held in Roppongi, Japan on 22 April, MSI Technologies unveiled the X340 and a number of other new products, including the X600 and the X400, for the first time in Japan causing a stir and receiving enthusiastic reviews from the local media.
Confident that the computer market in the Asia-Pacific region is poised for continued strong growth, MSI Technologies has focused a great deal of energy this year into establishing a presence in that market. To highlight the value it places in Japan's market, Henry Lu, MSI Senior Vice President of Sales, personally attended the press conference in Japan. Lu stated that "Light, Slim, Aesthetic" are the main thrusts of MSI products this year. In the wake of MSI’s Wind U Series, which received high acclaim worldwide in 2008, MSI is confident that the X Series and the All-in-one computer WindTop Series will stir up another wave of interest on the market. MSI will always pursuit the company philosophy of “Insist on the Best!" as it launches more outstanding products.
The X340, the first laptop in the world to come with Intel's CULV platform, is equipped with a 13" screen and weighs in at only 1.3 kilograms. It is only 1.98cm thin and a mere 6mm at its slimmest point. With its crisp lines, the X-Slim X340 comes in three colors, including pearl white, midnight black, and sci-fi silver, to satisfy different tastes.
Both lean and mean, the chic X340 boasts multimedia and power conservation functions. It is equipped with a fully functional I/O port, a HDMI port, and it supports Blu-Ray. In addition to being designed to support 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, you can choose the latest WiMAX module as a option.
In addition to presenting the X Series, which is comprised of the X340, X600, and X400—all about to hit the market in the near future, X340 will be available soon in the channel in mid May. MSI Technologies also introduced the Wind Top AE1900, MSI’s first All-in-one computer with a touchscreen, as well as the MSI Wind Touch UI user interface especially developed by MSI Technologies for the Wind Top Series as well as a number of exclusive applications designed to allow users to enjoy films hassle free.
MSI Technologies has invested large quantities of resources and R&D capabilities into developing its all new X-Slim product line. To demonstrate its outstanding achievements, MSI Technologies will display its X Series in activities around the globe starting soon.
