APS (Active Phase Switching)

Active Phase Switching, APS, technology is an intelligent design that helps to save energy on MSI’s motherboards. Sideport Memory

Sideport memory is memory dedicated to the onboard GPU. It aims to give the onboard GPU its own memory, reducing the amount of system memory needed to be allocated to the onboard GPU. Its performance is faster than using system RAM. Sideport memory equipped additional 1Gbit (128MB) DDR3 1333MHz IGP memory to accelerate onboard VGA 3D performance up to 15%.
