Update firmware will wipe all data on tablet. MSI strongly recommends that user should prepare a backup before proceeding with firmware upgrade.
- If the notebook has Windows 7 EC firmware installed, please DON'T attempt to update your EC firmware to Windows 8 version since it will cause some function keys (Fn) and hotkeys to work abnormally. If in case you flash your system EC to Win8 version, then kindly revert back to Win7 EC version.
