About AWE Learning

Founded in the mid-1990s, AWE Learning (AWE) provides digital learning solutions to public libraries across the U.S. and Canada, focusing on early literacy and school readiness. With a mission to deliver multi-curricular content through a safe and easy-to-use platform, the company develops and maintains Platinum V3, an offline desktop application that enables libraries to deliver educational content while allowing administrators to manage updates, track usage, and generate reports efficiently.

Selecting Suitable Hardware

To meet the unique needs of public libraries, AWE required hardware that was powerful and affordable without compromising on security or performance. “Our goal is to deliver a high-value educational product that fits within the tight budget constraints of public libraries,” said Robert Peterson, Director of Software Engineering at AWE.

After evaluating multiple vendors, AWE partnered with MSI, selecting the PRO AP222T All-in-One (AIO) PCs. Equipped with up to Intel® Core™ i7-13700 processors, these AIOs provided ample performance to run their application smoothly. 10-point touch technology touchscreen ensured an interactive and intuitive experience for young learners, while dTPM 2.0 provided hardware-based security - critical for libraries focused on safeguarding personal data in offline environments.

Successful Implementation and Standardization

Since adopting MSI’s PRO AP222T AIO PCs, AWE has standardized its Platinum V3 application across its public library clients, creating a robust, scalable foundation for AWE’s expanding educational platforms.

Future Expansion with MSI

After years of successful use, AWE is now testing newer, more powerful MSI models to further expand its offerings and support the needs of institutions nationwide. Peterson adds, “In our experience, no other computer vendor was able to match MSI’s combination of competence, quality and economy.”
