Stuck in TPM?

The most significant requirement difference between Windows 11 and previous Windows OS is the enablement of TPM 2.0.

All of the intel 10th and 11th gen CPU MSI Laptops already have built-in TPM 2.0, so you don't have to worry about it.

But just in case if the TPM 2.0 on your laptop has been disabled, this is what you will see after running the PC Health check app

Stuck in TPM

If you encounter this issue, you have to enable TPM 2.0 function in BIOS to continue. You can refer to the Windows 11 update tutorial video for step by step method.

Backup before you start updating

You never know what will happen during a major update, so the best way is to backup your files within the laptop before beginning the Windows 11 update.

You can use your spare portable storage or cloud drive to backup the files. For the factory stock OS environment, you have to prepare a USB drive with minimum 32GB available space, and note that all file on it will be erased.

Plug the USB drive in your laptop, open up MSI Center, select “Support”, “MSI Recovery”, and follow the instruction shown in MSI Center.
