Please follow the instruction as below to solve it.



1) Open services.msc. And Stop service name "Windows Update"

2) To delete the "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution" folder and all contents inside.

3) After that, check windows update again. The SoftwareDistribution folder will get recreated on its own. Then start upgrade.
