Answer

If the device enters the BIOS menu directly instead of the operating system after startup, please refer to the following steps:



1. If an SSD upgrade was performed, please check if the SSDs are installed with the operating system.



    If the operating system was not installed, please refer to FAQ-2988 or use an installation media to install the system



2. Remove all external devices, including but not limited to external monitors, USB flash drives, mouse, keyboards, and so on.



3. Power off the laptop, unplug the power supply, and press the power button until the power indicator blinks (for over 25 seconds) to perform an EC reset.



    



4. Power on the laptop again. If it enters the BIOS menu, go to the Main page > Storage system to check if the SSDs are recognized.



    



5. If the SSDs are recognized in the BIOS, reinstall the system with an installation media. If the SSDs aren’t recognized, please contact the local service center.
