[Product Information] Why do panels have high-frequency noise?
LastUpdate : Mon, 26 Jun 2023
Answer
The high-pitched/frequency noise can be heard from the laptop panels near the bottom of the display, not from the speaker or the fans.
The high-frequency sound was caused by resonance when the current goes through the LED; it is characteristic of the LED component within regular use and will not cause any hardware damage.
Depending on different people and environmental noise, it's easier to hear the high-pitch noise in a relatively quiet environment and for people more sensitive to high frequency.
This sound is a physical phenomenon produced with normal device usage with a mini LED panel, similar to coil-whine, which is not related to the hardware defect but cannot be prevented entirely.
