MSI laptops use a 4-pin headphone jack to support devices with headphones and microphones.

If you need to use a 3-pin headset (headphones and microphones are designed separately), please use a 3-pin to 4-pin headphone adapter (see the picture below) to ensure that the audio or microphone functions work properly.

 

Please use a 4-pin to 3-pin headphone adapter (see the attached picture below) to ensure headphone functionality.
