After upgrading to Windows 8.1, the touchpad only works during the OOBE stage (the set-up stage before you can start using Windows), but won't work after going into the Start screen. And it can't be enabled by touchpad switch.

Answer
Please remove the previous touchpad driver by following two ways:
1. Use an external USB mouse to regain the control of the cursor and remove the touchpad drivers.
2. Use Tab key, arrow keys, and Enter key to move the cursor and remove the touchpad driver (More difficult way).
After removing the drivers, please download and install the new touchpad driver for Windows 8.1 from the official product page.
