Green products

MSI commits itself to comply products with the following four major aims: "Low Hazard", "Extended Product Life", "Energy Saving", and "Ease of Recycling". We build the Green Product Management (GPM) platform and request the partners in the supply chain to follow related rules. With it, hazard substance management and control are able to be conducted on suppliers. Moreover, concern substances would be identified and controlled corresponding to different risk levels In order to manufacture products with non-hazard substances throughout the product life cycle, We proceed to make improvement on product design from material and texture simplification, the assessment of recycle ratio to green materials application.

Color boxes printed with eco-friendly soy ink can decrease the use of hazardous substances and reduce the disposal and reprocessing work.
The effects on the environment and waste disposal produced by mercury backlight in panels can be reduced without using CCFL backlight.
