Since 2021, MSI has successfully donated over 1,200 professionally refurbished computers to bridge the digital divide. This initiative aims to provide underprivileged students and marginalized groups with equal opportunities for digital exploration through essential hardware support.

Breathing New Life into Hardware: The Lifecycle Successor

Leveraging its strengths as a leading IT R&D powerhouse, every donated computer undergoes the rigorous "MSI Standard Refurbishment Process". This includes deep hardware diagnostics, performance optimization, and system restoration to ensure that each device delivers stable and smooth performance for its new users. By transforming its core technical competencies into a force for digital equity, MSI not only reduces electronic waste but also directs "green energy" to every corner of Taiwan.

Responsive Agility and Long-term Commitment: Filling Multi-dimensional Gaps

MSI’s commitment to social needs is characterized by its resilience and breadth. Beyond standard educational subsidies, the company proactively addresses hidden societal gaps. Over the past five years, MSI’s philanthropic footprint has expanded across Taiwan, including:

Rural Education Empowerment: Providing high-performance equipment to support coding and digital maker courses for students in remote areas.
Closing Social Welfare Gaps: Offering hardware support for youth in foster care and transitional housing.
Marginalized Community Empowerment: Donating equipment to community learning groups to help seniors and vulnerable groups acquire digital skills.
Long-term Local Support: Sustaining a 15-year commitment to funding nutritious lunches and grants for 70 schools in New Taipei City.

In 2025, in addition to its base budget of NT$40.91 million, MSI allocated an additional NT$15 million for urgent social needs, bringing the total annual investment to NT$55.91 million.

To internalize the spirit of sustainability within its corporate culture, MSI launched "Agri-education" as part of its 40th-anniversary activities. More than 100 employees headed to Dayuan, Taoyuan, to participate in rice seedling planting, reconnecting people with food and the land through hands-on farming.
