The MSI AI Edge is built upon the advanced AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 300 Series Processors, offering configurations featuring the flagship AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395. This unified platform offers exceptional computational power, reaching up to 126 total TOPS of AI performance. It comes equipped with 96GB of Variable Graphics Memory, advanced RDNA™ 3.5 graphics with 40 compute units, and a state-of-the-art XDNA 2 NPU architecture that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI acceleration.

AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ Series empowers everyone with LLM access

A distinct advantage of the AI Edge is its memory configuration, which effectively removes VRAM bottlenecks. The system utilizes up to 128GB of LPDDR5X 8000 on-board Unified Memory, designed for low-latency speed. Critically, up to 96GB of this high-speed memory can be dynamically and exclusively allocated to the GPU. This massive capacity allows the AI Edge to comfortably handle the memory requirements of large-scale model inference, achieving an output of 15 Tokens per second (TPS) when running Large Language Models (LLMs) up to 120B parameters, supporting the deployment of advanced AI applications directly on the user's desktop with next-level performance and data security.

Designed for everyday use, the AI Edge offers the flexibility to run either Windows or Linux, allowing users to choose the operating system they are most comfortable with. Beyond AI inference tasks, the system also delivers gaming performance comparable to a GeForce RTX 4060–class experience, making it suitable for both work and play. All of this is housed in an ultra-compact 4-liter chassis with a built-in power supply, helping users save valuable desk space. To maintain consistent performance during extended AI inference and gaming sessions, the AI Edge is equipped with MSI’s Glacier Armor thermal solution. By applying advanced heatsinks to key components, this design improves heat dissipation and helps ensure long-term system stability under sustained workloads.

Furthermore, the system is bundled with a powerful local AI application designed for productivity. This multimodal software leverages the device's on-premises computing resources. It features powerful capabilities for essential productivity tasks, such as generating meeting notes and creating mind maps, all while maximizing data privacy. Additionally, the software integrates advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, enabling users to securely process and query local datasets for highly contextual and data-specific output. For instance, users can simply import personal financial records to instantly analyze and optimize their asset allocation portfolios, gaining tailored wealth management insights without sensitive data ever leaving the device.
