We invite creators from around the world to submit original works that align with this year’s theme:“Boundless Aesthetics – Fluid Beyond Boundaries. Endless Possibilities.”

Submit a static, digitally created image that showcases your artistic vision. All visual styles are welcome, from realistic to abstract. Examples of accepted works include: Poster design, Comic or manga pages, Game art or character design, 2D concept art, Digital illustration, Abstract or stylized digital paintings, or any other form of still, digitally generated visual art.

•File size: maximum size: 5 MB. •Maximum dimensions: 1920 x 1080 •Format: JPG or PNG **AI-generated content and scanned physical artworks are not allowed.**

Submit a digitally created video or animation that tells a story, expresses an idea, or brings characters to life.Examples of accepted works include: 2D or 3D animation, Stop-motion animation, Motion graphics or kinetic typography, Live-action video integrated with animation, or any other form of original, digitally-generated animation

•Recommended video duration: Less than 90 seconds•Submit the work to an online streaming platform, such as YouTube or Vimeo with a publicly-viewable, password-free link•Videos can be in any size/shape format•If subtitles are needed, they must be embedded in the video *Submissions must be original digital creations. ***AI-generated content and scanned physical artworks are not allowed.**

Scoring and Criteria

CREATIVITY 15% Creative designs showcase original and innovative ideas that go beyond conventional approaches. They demonstrate a unique perspective, imaginative solutions, and inventive problem-solving strategies. Judges look for designs that surprise, inspire, and push the boundaries of what is expected.
DIGITAL ITERACY 15% Digital literacy refers to the effective use of digital tools, software, and technologies. It encompasses skills such as software proficiency, digital drawing techniques, animation capabilities, and knowledge of interactive design principles. Designs should demonstrate a high level of technical competence and understanding of digital design standards.
ORIGINALITY 15% Originality involves avoiding direct copying or imitation of existing designs. Original designs showcase a fresh perspective, unique elements, and a departure from clichés or common design tropes. Judges evaluate the extent to which a design presents new ideas, approaches, or visual styles that set it apart from others.
AESTHETICS 15% Aesthetics refer to the visual appeal and artistic quality of a design. Judges assess factors such as color schemes, layout composition, use of imagery, and overall design coherence. Aesthetic excellence involves creating visually pleasing and harmonious designs that engage the audience and convey intended messages effectively.
THEME 15% Theme adherence evaluates how well a design aligns with the given theme- A Fusion of Art and Technology. Creative interpretation of the theme is encouraged, where designers explore unique angles, metaphors, or narratives related to the theme. Judges look for designs that not only meet the thematic requirements but also add depth, creativity, and relevance to the chosen theme.
BRANDING 10% The works are encouraged to integrate elements related to MSI, such as MSI laptops, the MSI logo, or the beloved mascot Lucky in creative and meaningful ways. Participants should strive for a seamless integration of these elements while maintaining design coherence and relevance to the overall theme of the competition.
PUBLIC VOTES 15% The public vote will account for the total score.
