To use the 6 GHz band of Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 features, make sure the system meets the following requirements.
- The applicable wireless frequency bands are supported in your country or region
The 6 GHz wireless band must be available and supported in your country or region.

Even if both the notebook and router support Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7, the system may still be unable to detect or use a 6 GHz network if the 6 GHz band has not been enabled in the region.
- Use a supported version of Windows 11
Update the operating system to Windows 11 24H2 or later.

- Install a wireless network adapter that supports the required standard
The notebook must be equipped with a wireless network adapter that supports the required Wi-Fi standard:
- To use Wi-Fi 6E: The notebook must be equipped with a wireless network adapter that supports Wi-Fi 6E and the 6 GHz band, such as Intel AX210, Intel Killer AX1675, or a later model.
- To use Wi-Fi 7: The notebook must be equipped with a wireless network adapter that supports Wi-Fi 7.
Note that a wireless network adapter supporting only Wi-Fi 6 cannot use the 6 GHz band.
- Update the BIOS and WLAN driver
Search for the notebook model on the MSI website, and download and install the latest BIOS and WLAN driver from the support page for that model.
The minimum driver version requirements for Wi-Fi 6E are as follows:
- Intel wireless network adapter: v22.70.0.6 or later
- AMD wireless network adapter: v3.2.0.192 or later
