How to solve “Unknown Device” problem?
Device manager is a tool that can be used to manage the device on the computer. You can use "Device Manager" to view and change device properties, update device drivers, configure device settings, and uninstall devices. The device manager provides a graphical view of the hardware installed on the computer. All devices communicate with Windows through "device driver". If we find an unknown device or an exclamation mark in the device manager, how can we solve it?
Search automatically for updated driver software
1. Right click on “ This PC” > Select “Manage”
2. Select “Device Manager”
3. Exclamation mark along the drivers suggests the issues with the driver installed. Right Click on it and select “Update driver”.
4. Check if the computer is connected to the internet. Click on “Search automatically for updated driver software”.
