[Notebook] How to fix the monitor screen looks washed out problem after you update your graphics card driver?

The MSI True Color program’s calibration file works through Windows OS’ graphics card driver to precisely calibrate the colors of your screen. After you update the driver for your Windows OS or your system is updated automatically through Windows Update, the connections between the calibration file and graphics card driver may break, causing discoloration.

If you experience the washed out or faded out screen problem after updating the graphics card driver (for example: updating Intel graphics driver to version 30.0.101.1692 or newer), please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

1. Download the latest Intel and NVIDIA graphics driver, and the MSI True Color program installer from the MSI website.

Note: Don’t connect your desktop PC or laptop to the Internet before completing the following steps.

2. Refer to the following clean install guides to install the Intel and NVIDIA graphics drivers that you downloaded from the MSI website.
