How to check RAM specification?
If your MSI laptop needs to upgrade the memory, you should pay attention to the specifications, capacity, working frequency, etc. Different notebooks may be having different memory. Therefore, MSI recommends purchasing the same brand as the factory configuration to avoid hardware compatibility issues. If you don't know how to check the memory support specifications, please refer to the following methods.
1. Please confirm the MSI notebook model: There will be an organic information sticker on the lower left of the machine keyboard. The sticker indicates the specific model of the machine (GS63VR 7RF is taken as an example)
2. Please log in to MSI official website, enter "GS63VR 7R" in the index field at the top right corner of the website, and press the Enter key to search.
3. Click “Specifications".
4. Check the "Memory" field information. For example, this model memory is DDR4, the operating frequency is 2400Hz, there are 2 slots, and the total can support 32GB.
