MSI Gaming Monitors can update the firmware easily and always apply the best configuration.
But there are several items that require attention before updating the firmware to avoid mistakes in firmware updating or misuse. Please follow this guide to update the monitor firmware.
• ONLY use the DP and USB cable in the accessory box to update the firmware to have the right transfer bandwidth and stability. A cable with a convertor does not work.
• Please use the LATEST MSI official application, Gaming OSD App, or Game Intelligence App to update the monitor firmware. Other uncertified application could lead to failure.
• Each firmware file cannot be cross used because different models use different scalar as design. They are not compatible with each other and will lead to update failures with unexpected errors.
